About
Ottawa-based author Terry Tyo is the former publisher of Storyteller, Canada’s fiction magazine. He writes stories about ordinary people thrust into extraordinary circumstances. Boom Town, the first book in the Charlie Dawson Mystery Series, is a tense mystery set in a fictionalized version of Ottawa, Canada in 1970, during an explosive time of societal unrest and upheaval—one that feels strikingly relevant as a new generation comes of age. Terry is currently at work on Curse of the Black Dog, the second installment in the Charlie Dawson Mystery Series.
